Living abroad does not settle your US filing position

US citizenship or US tax residency can bring reporting obligations on worldwide income. We review your income, residency history and filing position before deciding which returns and schedules are needed.

Salary, investments and foreign accounts

Employment income is only part of the picture. Bring details of bank accounts, investments, pensions, property and business interests so reporting questions are addressed together.

Review the relief you can claim

The foreign earned income exclusion, foreign housing provisions and foreign tax credits each have their own rules. We assess the facts rather than assuming that a move overseas eliminates US tax.

A practical annual process

We organise the document request, clarify missing items and walk you through the draft return. Tell us about moves, new accounts or a business launch before the filing deadline approaches.

Your questions,
answered.

Do I need a US return if I live in Dubai?

Your US filing requirement depends on citizenship or residency, income and other circumstances. Living in Dubai alone does not remove that requirement.

Can you help if I have missed earlier returns?

Yes. Start by telling us which years are missing and whether you have received IRS correspondence. We can assess the appropriate route.

Still personal.
